Unlocking my avail 2 Z992 AT&T phone

How do I unlock my at&t avail 2 Z992 phone to any carrier. Got the avail 2 while on holiday in the US and now I'm back home, tried to put in a sim from one of my local carriers but it asked for an unlock code which I don't have.
