Unlocking Phone

I had this phone through Tmobile contract and unfortunately couldn't keep up with it. Is there a way to get this unlocked to possibly use on a no contract monthly plan?

The easiest way to get it unlocked would be through t-mobile sending you an unlock code themselves, but it sounds from what you're saying like that might not be an option... When you say you couldn't keep up with it, does that mean you ended things with them without paying off the phone?

That's correct. I never paid off the phone. I've seen many sites stating you can get the unlock code so you can use a different Sim card but I won't just shell out cash if it's not possible.

I can't personally attest to how well third-party unlocking services work. Unfortunately, I doubt t-mobile would give you an unlock code until you paid off the phone (it's worded some way like that in your contract)
