I've seen lots of ads for unlocking - How reliable are any of them?
I'd ask TM, but everything's in an uproar with TM right now.

Like anything else, it depends on the specific option you're talking about. Some aren't reliable, some are.

No. They're 2 different things. Unlocking only allows you to use another carrier's SIM in your GSM device.
