Unread email reminder notification.

I was wondering if there was an app that would cause an android phone to vibrate and/or play an audible notification every 2-5 min until all notifications are cleared form the task bar. I have a client who has moved from a Blackberry to a Droid 2 (thank god I hate those damn Blackberry's) and he used to receive these "reminder notifications" when he didn't open his emails or texts right away. I searched the app store up and down from my Incredible but could not find anything.

You can try Missed Reminder, available in the Market. Last time I used it though, it would sometimes continue to remind me even after all notifications had been cleared. I don't think this was just a fluke on my installation because there is a "clear" option in the app settings to stop if from doing that when needed, so it must have been an ongoing issue. It may work better now though.

Search for GMail in the MArket and you will find around 20 apps that will do that.
