unroot woes

following the unroot guide and the signed rc29 to 30 file when it gets to the bootloader bootloader says it cant verify because of no signature. I downloaded it from the link in justjimjpc's guide

i guess it seems silly or odd, but there is no better way to learn this stuff than to just do it, i'd really like to get familiar with the process because in that way i learn it for myself
 
and yes today i was careful to follow the steps. I downloaded the listed files, and worked my way thruough them. I am at a rooted rc29 and when i go to load the rc 30 legit file i get a loader message that says the files are unsigned and wont continue. They are not mixed up with any other files so I am kind of stumped here. I guess i will go all the wya to 1.5 and work my way back down
