Root Unrooting Samsung Tarnsform..conflicting suggestions

Good Evening,

I am trying to unroot a Samsung Transform and I'm getting different suggestions on how to unroot it such as needing an ruu file. It was rooted using vampirefo. The 2.2 update is constantly popping up and I don't want to risk bricking the phone. I want to know how do I go about unrooting the Transform and afterwards updating to 2.2 and then rerooting the phone again?

I would just follow Cooper's guide to un-bricking.

It's not bricked. All I'm trying to do is unroot it i.e. flash it back to stock..I think the kernel is vampirefo.

I understand, but using Cooper's guide will do want you want. Just don't do step 4.

In the 2nd option, what is the console?

Never mind, go to vampirefo's recovery. Either on the main menu or under Advanced Options, there will be an option that says "Go to console"

That's what I was talking about, in the vamp recovery. How do I get to the Console to type in rfs?

Do you need the internet for this and is this the FULL 2.2 upgrade?

If you have the files you're fine without internet. Yes it's the 2.2

I flashed it back to 2.1 and had Sprint do the 2.2 update. Now I'd like to root it again.. what would be my options as far as that?
