What should I do to successfully download WhatsApp Messenger as I'm constatntly getting a message that 'The requested item could not be found'. I'm using HTC Hero handset.

Go into Settings >Apps > All > Google Play Store >Clear Cache and defaults
Go into Settings >Apps > All > Google Service Framework > Clear cache/data/defaults
Now reopen the play store and reattempt download
