Help Unwanted updates

Hi, I keep getting notifications that facebook and instagram have updated.
I have never had either a facebook or instagram account.
I have all my apps set not to auto update and have disabled everything I can find. The apps came preloaded on my phone so I can't delete them.
Any ideas?

Go to settings/apps find face and instagram and just disable them

However, with automatic updates turned off in the Play Store you shouldn't be getting these messages anyway. So I agree with the above, but don't know why it's happening. Check settings for the individual apps as well as the general setting.
