Update Andriod Version to most current 4.0

How do i update an LG GW620 Andriod 3.0 to most current android as i am unable to use google play as it says version is out of date and needs to be updated

As old as that phone is, I don't think you can.
Looking at its specs, it wouldn't handle ICS/4.0 all that well.
