I have galaxy S3 . I get message from Samsung that firmware update available throw Wi- Fi . Is that necessary to update this firmware update. please help me the advantage and disadvantage of this firmware update.

I can say that on Verizon you would get bugged ever 30 minutes to update. I couldn't take that. If you're on the international s3 not to sure if it works the same way. If you can decline it permanently I would. I was happier with ics. Not saying jb is crap but there are features that are no longer in jb that were in ics. Read some other threads to see the differences. I'm not to big on Google now at the moment which is probably the biggest feature in jb.
