Help update for Bluetooth 4.0 for Discover?

Hi, my Discover shipped with Bluetooth 3.1. I liked it until the 4.1.2 update (I refuse to call it an upGRADE), when Bluetooth seemed to go to hell in a handbasket. Now I see that they are shipping Discovers with Bluetooth 4.0 and would love to see if I could update my Bluetooth and perhaps love my DIscover again. Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to check which version I have? I can probably help out if we can find someone who has 4.0. See my post in the reboot thread in this section.

I have the same problem with Bluetooth being broken by the update to 4.1.2. Pantech supports recommendation is to get another phone that is compatible with my car but it worked prior to the update. I'll certainly take their advice on my next phone and not get a Pantech.
