I'm just getting this update. Yet again, nothing mentioning camera improvements.

It's the "May 1, 2020" security patch update but wasn't yet reflected here:

In spite of it not showing it in the official Samsung changelog, some users are stating that there have been camera improvements on the USA snapdragon phones and this video appears to show this...

I just watched that video and it LOOKS promising but I don't believe it's accurate. I think it's placebo affect. I think they're testing the camera auto-focus in perfect conditions (great lighting) so it happens to be working reasonably.

I've got two S20 Ultras here:
  1. One with the update
  2. One without the update
They perform identically and in a room that isn't perfectly lit the auto-focus issue persists. There is also trouble auto-focusing at close macro-like distances. It didn't take long for me to find an object that caused hunting. It did quickly resolve and set a fixed focus- but it was blurry and not properly focused.

It's hard to measure improvements when the testing is so limited and when there is no basis for comparison.

I do not own the snapdragon model and therefore cannot comment. You have previously owned that model and from the video you can judge for yourself.
previous 2 months ago until today my new ULTRA came and gave back 11 pro max with 520 usd payoff to upgrade.
