Root Update on zte website

Hey guys, there is an update on the zte website for our phone. I downloaded it but havent installed it. I was wondering if someone wants to dig into it and have a look. I'm wondering if it is the kit kit update. I havent installed it yet because I'm afraid it will replace my custom recovery back to stock. Anyone wanna toy around with it?

I've installed it. It's not kit Kat. As far as I can tell it's just a stock Rom with some changes to the sdcard reader. I'm not %100 on the custom recovery thing or not but I'm pretty sure it won't install unless the stock recovery is installed.

Hmm I'm wondering if that would be beneficial to me. Ive been having trouble with copying files from my pc.

I am pretty sure the update you are referring to is not an update. If you are not getting update notifications, you are running the newest update.

Yes, you will still get the update notification on the deodexed rom but it will fail to update.
