Update received/colorado springs/verizon/eris

received the update at 9am this morning. very strange install: update package image with orange progress bar 5min install, 3 restarts with package image and hash-mark moving progress bar 4 min, phone booted up and stayed at "HTC" logo for 7min. then all was well. so when it installs, set it down and go watch a movie

O got the up date here in Boston last night when I went to shut my phone off.
So I left it on,plugged it in and went to bed.

So what did the update do?
Is this the upgrade to 2.0 for our Eris?

I got mine this morning at 6:15am. The firmware version is still 1.5 so I don't know what this did. Does anybody?

No, not 2.0 update. Some internal fixes, a bit of a performance boost.

Some folks ( me included ) are seeing improved battery usage/reporting.
