I'm trying to make an astronomy app (in the beginnings, learning Java now), and I don't want to put it on the play store (b/c supposedly it costs $25 to get a developer code? Unless there is a way to go free). If I put the .apk on a site, I update it, and they go through that whole process and such, will it install a new app? Or will it update it? Also, is there a way to keep all the info from deleting while updating?
