Help Update Xperia z

After installing the lollipop software my messaging wouldn't open & my phone won't connect to wifi, my messaging started working about 4hrs after update but wifi is still saying authentication problem, any help would be appreciated

Back up, factory reset, then see. Sometimes things get a bit tangled after an update.

You should try clearing cache from recovery first, as that's non-destructive, but if it doesn't work a reset is a good idea.
