Updated Evo to Fresh Evo 1.0.1 but still can't get tethering

Hi, just got my Evo last night. I installed Clockmod recovery and wiped cache / SD ext. I installed SD ex update and I installed Fresh Evo 1.0.1 from Flipz. I still get error 67 verifying username and password when I try to enable internet sharing. I updated the profle and PRL then re-updated the profile but with no use.
I'm sill new to all of this and I'm learning but can someone help me please.

the Free wifi tethering is not via the sprint mobile hotpot you have to download an app called "WIFI tether for root users" if you cant find it on the market just google WIFI tether for root users.apk then install the file with a file explorer if you ahve flipz you should already have es file explorer (only if you have to google the .apk file)

I got that app thanks. It is possible to do tethering via the wire or does it have to be wireless?
