Help Updated to Andriod 2.1 - How do I get 'Samsung Keyboard' back?

I've upgraded to Android 2.1 but have lost the Samsung keyboard option.

Is there a way to install this? Or another alternative keyboard I can use in the same format?

Only the 'Android Keyboard' is listed now. The old firmware has a 'Samsung Keyboard' option which would let you use an old style mobile T9 predictive text keyboard among other things.

BTW thanks for the help with the 2.1 upgrade. It's a bit fussy, but after installing keis, changing usb ports and doing a factory reset on the phone it eventually worked!

It's not part of the JD4 firmware. If I can find the app.executable I'll let you know. You'll need to root your phone to install it.
