getting notification that there is a new update for the HTC Peep client? what is this?
OTA sapphire or something?

Update:HTC Peep Client.
 
HTC Sense for Android 2.1 includes a Twitter widget called Peep. I assume this update does something to Peep. I don't use it at all, so I don't know if it had any bugs that require fixing, but that would seem like the likeliest explanation.
