Updating firmware on Kies

Hi all. After hearing jelly bean is out for some people I downloaded kies plugged in my S3 and it picked up a firmware update so I started downloading now the problem is at 100% nothing happens it stays on 100% for about 20 mins then kies closes automatically. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? I've changed usb port. Uninstalled redownloaded reinstalled kies 2 times. Thanks in advance
 
AV or firewall can interfere - try disabling AV on my system this stops kies spawning a new process at 100 % that start the downlaod
