Updating Galaxy Grand Duos.

Good Day! I haven't updated my Samsung Galaxy Grand before. I just wanted to know how to update my device to the latest version of android (Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos Android 4 2 2 Stability Update) without taking any risk.

Update your device manually...

1. Downoad the firmware file of your country and extract it to .md5
2. Download odin3.06 or higher version.
3. Charge your device upto 50% and then switch off your device
4. Press hold volume down + Home + Power until you see a warning
screen!
5. Now press Volume up to continue
6. Connect the device to pc using the usb cable
7. download Install the samsung usb drivers and odin mode drivers
8. Now In the odin se the message as added...
9. Press the PDA button in the odin and choose the extracted .tar.md5
file and click start.
10. Odin flashes the files to your device and after the Nand write is
completed your device restarts into the android 4.2.2.
11. Now your device will confirmly stucks into a bootloop. Dont be afraid
of that.
12. Just remove the battery for 3 seconds and then replace the battery
and press hold volume up + Home + Power it boots into the recovery
mode simply choose wipe data/cache press power button and then
choose wipe dalwik cache and press power button. then again restart
the phone.
13. The samsung logo appears for a couple of minute and the it goes to
the setup wizard now you have updated your device to 4.2.2

Is there any info about 4.4 (KitKat) coming to this phone or will we have to be satisfied with 4.2.2 period. I am asking as I have heard that 4.4 is built so it can run on less 'h/w endowed' phones

i m trying to install custom rom in my samsung gt i9082.. but every time it strats it is aborted saying failed to verify whole-file signature , what to do?? plz help urgent.........
