Hubby and I both have the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. For both of us this last week we have both experienced identical problems.
We have the phones connected to the house WiFi (Sky Broadband) however this last week updates for us both are failing and the only way we can get the phones to update the apps is to take the WiFi off and update them through the mobile network? This is not one app in particular but all the apps that require updating.
The other problem which has also come to light for us both this week is WhatsApp messages are not coming through. Again, we are connected to WiFi which is working fine for general web browsing on the phones. For example we were sent a message at 3pm yesterday and we only got it when we were alerted by a normal SMS from the sender at 10.30pm last night and when we then clicked the WhatsApp icon the messages then came through.
Same thing has happened again this morning.
We did upgrade to Marshmallow a couple of weeks ago so not sure if connected? We have never experienced any of these issues before and as I say it is definitely not the WiFi as we can access the web and mail etc.
