Help Updating rooted ace

hi guys
i have rooted my ace and i wanted to ask if i can update my ace through kies or i will have to unroot it first

Please use the search facility (it even shows up when you type a thread) when posting as it saves threads like this being repeated over and over..........

Unrooting is wise. My kies would not recognise phone when rooted.
Mind you if your on 2.3.4 you'll be waiting a while for updates.....
