Updating SIM Card

Hello:

I should be receiving a new Moto X this week. Currently I have a Micro SIM card in my LG Optimus L9. I realize it won't work in the Moto X because I need a Nano SIM. It appears as my Moto X shipped with a T-Mobile SIM. When I receive it and call T-Mobile to switch SIM's should I give them my new phone's IMEI number as well? Anything else I should know?

Also, I have the $30/month 100 Prepaid Plan.

No need to give the IMEI. They'll know it.
