Help updating to 4.2.2

hello everyone
after the latest update for Galaxy Grand the phone has become slow, many apps are crashing or just freezing
anybody try update any advice??

so many options are gone ..
like ..
1. import/export contacts (from sim to card and vice versa)
2. contacts to be displayed option
3. no favorites tab above contact list
4. multi window disabled .. it won't work !! so no more multi tasking windows !

one good thing i saw was, option for moving apps to sd card .. not every apps, only those apps downloaded .. can't move inbuilt apps .. flipboard is not inbuilt in 4.2.2, so that can be uninstalled completely ..

and the funniest thing is, if you move a 1mb app from mobile storage to external sd card, that app takes 2mb in sd card and few kb in mobile storage .. still it helps me to free some space in mobile storage .. phewwww !!

speed has been increased for me .. no hang so far .. browsing speed of images in gallery or browsing whatever files are much faster than it were ..

few lock screen additions .. notification panel has been changed .. could remove brightness bar from the drop down notification panel .. looks much cleaner now ..

over all, for me 4.1.2 was better in features, useful features it had many .. but 4.2.2 is much faster so far for me ..

i tried resetting to factory settings by pressing volume up, power, home buttons but unfortunately, 4.1.2 won't get rolled back like that from 4.2.2 .. so am stuck with 4.2.2 ..

the fact that its faster is amazing cause i don't really care for options that were lost that much, because the lag thing is a lot worst, do you think something went wrong with the installation cuz its become really slow, also regarding programs soundhound crashes whenever trying to find song, when i tried to search for it in the market its gone (not compatbile with 4.2.2) that is really annoying

after updating to 4.2.2, i wasn't happy since i lost those options .. so i reset the mobile to factory settings hoping it would help me by getting back those options .. but it didn't .. since i reset to factory defaults, i had to install all the apps again .. i have installed 10 apps .. and i got 32gb sd card class 10 from samsung itself .. i thought may be that's why its a bit faster !! .. but from today, google play and chrome are getting slow to load and close .. kinda sluggish .. not all the time .. sometimes .. i think its showing the signs of getting slow completely .. i haven't installed any games so far .. lost the interest in that since i was disappointed in this update .. i have no clue what to do now .. by the way, the options i lost are there in other 4.2.2 versions mobile, i checked S4 set and everything are there .. may be it has another level of baseband or any other settings .. i don't know .. multi tasking is not working and contacts to display in contacts settings are not working .. is it a bug or this is what they intended .. anyways, this is not good ..

it may take time .. i have no idea about whom to contact or through where to contact to even complain about this .. do you know how to roll back to 4.1.2 ?? its all messed up anyway ..

i think the only way is to root the phone and install custom firmware 4.1.2 also should get titanium backup, i'm going to try it this week

thanks .. but the process they are showing is rooting itself .. am not a geek to fix it back if something went wrong in between .. so i never prefer rooting .. its still under warranty !! leaked 4.2.2 version and the official version 4.2.2 through kies updates are completely filled with bugs .. this is so bad ..

I too had the above issues. Fixed everything with the latest 60 MB stability patch OTA. Cheers

Even after upgrading my I-9082 to latest update patch (61 MB), the phone hangs and freezes suddenly. Any help on this is highly appreciated.

What is this 60 MB patch Now ???

M frustrate with my phone now.. My whataspp, We chat , Fb apps all are stopped working after this updation. I am not able to access my apps
