Updating transferred Android App

We are planning to transfer our app from one company account to other company account (Let say Company A to Company B) . We are planning to use transfer process suggested by Google. Now my question is, If we want to release new update of app after transfer, Do I need any thing from old account like certificate, keystore etc.? As after transfer we will not have access to old company Account, as old company used same certificate for signing other apps as well. But we are planning to release multiple updates from new account without impacting current users. Please suggest!

I'm not a developer, but my understanding is that updates must have the same signature as previous versions. So yes, I think you'll need to transfer the certificates/keys to the new company/developer.
