updating unlocked android

I have an unlocked android phone. Called Cubot One. Quard core with OS4.2.1 jelly bean. There is no updates setting. How do I get updates. Thanks for any help.

Typically to check you can follow this:

Settings > About Phone/Device > Software Update > Update
