Is it possible to upgrade to jelly bean? There are several apps I have been trying to install that require 4.xx to run properly. I have tried calling my carrier but hey were not much help. And the internet either returns conflicting information if any at all on my phone model. If possible can you supply a webpage that contains the downloads or information I need.

Thank you

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. Hopefully I can help you with your problem.

If you are running a stock, non-rooted device and have not received an update notification from your carrier, I doubt there is a Jelly Bean update for your device. I would try going into your phones settings and look for the firmware update. Give that a try.

If you are rooted, that's another story. Quite frequently, unlocking the bootloader, rooting, and/or installing a custom ROM will disable the update notification.

My advice would be to join the forum and look under your devices section. Hopefully there will be a Jelly Bean ROM update there for rooted users.

If you have any other questions regarding your device, I invite you to join Android Forums. We have many sections for specific devices which contain a wealth of information.
