So next month I'll have had this phone for a year and I am ready to part ways with it. It's been OK, but seeing as how everything has moved away from Gingerbread to ICS I think it's time I did as well.
I'm just wondering a few things.
1) What is the value of this device? I've rooted it and removed bloatware but other than that, nothing special (no custom roms, nothing like that) and physically it's in perfect shape. Gotta love gorilla glass!
2) What would be a worthy successor? I was really eyeballing the S3 but since they have that BYOD plan (or if it's not available in my city I'll just go t-mo) I was also looking at switching teams and going apple. I work in IT so getting a older 4S isn't hard. Most of the time co-workers want the latest and greatest and they get it if they moan loud enough to their managers.
If I am stuck HAVING to stick with Metro, what is suggeted for about $250?
