Upgrades

What are 3 like for upgrades etc? Do they do good deals? Free phones etc or is there still an up front cost?

I'm with Orange at the moment. They've been good to me with upgrades, free high end phones, 18 month upgrade periods etc, but their data bundles are extortionate and with the trend towards no expandable storage looking to become the norm, cloud storage and a decent data plan seem the way to go.

When you upgrade with Three, do they offer similar things?

To put it simply, when you upgrade you are basically like a new customer, you do not get any bonuses or free extras and you can only choose contracts available for your choice of phone.
For example my upgrade was due in February and I wanted the HTC One, so now if want to upgrade to that phone I will have to choose a

I suppose they must have to make compromises somewhere for being so cheap.
