Help Upgrading Coolpad 3300a

Everyone:

I have a Coolpad 3300a that is just over a year old and is still running Kk4.4.4. Obviously, I'd like to upgrade this. Need some help. What is the latest O.S. this phone can run? What is the best way to go about upgrading Kk? Is Kies the best program for Android? etc...

Rick, unfortunately, the Coolpad 3300a is past its EOL (end of life) cycle and won't get any official updates any more. The only way to unofficially update would include rooting it and flashing modified firmware that independent developers have made specifically for it. I did a quick search of most of the common communities and I didn't see anything that would help you out. Sorry.

Is Kies the best program for Android?

Kies is a Samsung-only utility so it wouldn't work with your device.

Kind of hard to believe a 1 and 1/2 y/o phone is "EOL", but then, this phone is one of the cheapest on the mrkt. Well, maybe I'll just play around with it and see what comes up. Appreciate the advice!
