Upload to Dropbox?

I'm sure it's easy, but I'm not seeing it.

I have an HTC Incredible.

How do I upload files (mainly pictures and videos taken with the camera) to my dropbox folder?

I thought there might be a way to go into the dropbox app and upload, but that doesn't seem to just let me upload any file.

I also tried copying the files into sdcard/dropbox, but they don't show up in my dropbox account that way either.

You might need to install the latest beta for this (it's available in their forums), but in the Dropbox app, navigate to the folder you wish to upload to, hit the menu key, and hit upload. It'll prompt you for uploading a Picture, Video, Audio clip, or any file.

Still not sure. I wanted up copy an .apk from my device into dropbox.

I opened dropbox, just upload->any file, then selected Astro and when I navigated to the file, my only options were to browse file or open app manager.

What am I doing wrong?

I do exactly what you do and it works. Upload>Any File>Astro>navigate to where file is at>select file and it uploads.

I am using the Moto Droid, but I would imagine it works the same.

I see if I do that with, say, a picture I took from the camera, it uploads to dropbox, but try it with an .apk file.

When I select the .apk file it asks me to browse file or open in market.

Can you confirm the same bug?

Try' long pressing' the actual file (it worked for me)
