Uploading edited images

If I want to upload images to Facebook but I crop some images first, the cropped up images always display as the most recent, meaning I have to search where they came in the sequence. This is very annoying as my previous phone saved a copy in the same place as the original. Is there an app or a way I can solve this? I have a redmi phone. Thanks.

No. It automatically saves a copy but as the copy is newer than all previous images, it goes to the end. Adding a 1 would do the same. Saving over original image would too as the date would be more recent. It's really annoying. My old phone kept the copy in the same place. This phone foes too, it's only when uploading to Facebook, it recorders them.

Perhaps a different app to view your pictures would work. I'm sure the Play Store is heavily ridden with such. One that allowed you to view your pictures the way you prefer. Maybe your current pic viewer has settings to change views. It seems your current viewer is only looking at the date stamp and not the file name which is in a chronological naming sequence by the phone by default.

An app is what I'm looking for but everyone ive tried does the same. No settings to change in my gallery. Maybe it's a Facebook thing but it only started when I got a new phone.

If u crop the image on facebook app and post it directly then it will not save a copy in your phone gallery. I am also using same phone. It is only a facebook thing.

Then it's a facebook problem, right? I don't do fb so I can't try it myself, but if you're only experiencing this with fb, it sounds like a fb issue to me.

As for apps, I use F-Stop Pro. When I edit a photo it saves its copy with ~(1) at the end of its name, and displays it right there with the original. So finding and renaming it is effortless.
