UPNP/DLNA streamcasting apps that include local playback?

I recently purchased a Concept DVD overhead DVD player with streamcasting, and it works well. BUT, I would like to have local playback on my tablet as well as the overhead screen, allowing both of my daughters to view movies/shows (one is still rear facing, so she needs to see a different screen). I have installed most of the top rated apps for Android, such as ALL CAST and Bubble Upnp, but I can't see where they will accomplish what I'm after. Any suggestions would be most welcome!

I found very little on the net about those but one seller had a model claiming Miracast and another just saying "Wireless Screencasting" - and that sounds like Miracast to me.

Does the user guide say it supports DLNA?

It does, and it works well... I can stream to it from my devices, but the apps don't provide local playback, just playback on the overhead. So I'm looking for an app, like ALL CAST or Bubble Upnp that also plays on the device at the same time. I.e., dual monitors.

I've never seen one and if you find one, they won't synchronize.

DLNA on your phone is a file server, it's not really screen casting.

Playback is just that, streaming the file to the phone/tablet screen and speakers - separate functional streams.

I haven't used it in a long time, they may not support local files now, but they had a bizarre DLNA implementation.
