Root Urgent help needed

I installed a Cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightly successfully, got bored, and decided to try franco.kernel. I used the app from the play store, it bootlooped, i flashed the stock kernel, still bootlooping. I would like to sideload the stock rom, if at all possible. Please someone with experience, help me! UPDATE: I managed to sideload the stock rom, but it's still in a bootloop with a CYANOGENMOD SCREEN?!?!?!?! Oh my god, I need help!

Just wipe dalvik cache & cache and reflash the CM nightly ROM.

Problem solved :)

Edit:
Based on your edit, you're probably going to have to do a full wipe now. If you aren't sure what to do, trying random things is just going to get your into a hole deeper and deeper. Just wait for help to arrive while the problem is still easily fixable.

Sorry, I thought I knew what I was doing, obviously I didn't. I'll pay for it if I end up bricked. I did a factory reset and dalvik cache wipe, now I'm installing the nightly again. Thanks for the input :)

This device is so hard to brick beyond repair, that you almost don't have to worry about it. The only way you can do that is to delete your bootloader or flash an incompatible one. Custom Roms from developers don't include bootloaders, and you can only delete it through fastboot commands. Don't do that and your safe. :)

Ok, I tried installing the CM Nightly by sideloading it, but it says can't open /tmp/update.zip. I'm a bit lost. Is there a different kind of "wipe" that I need to do besides factory reset and dalvik? Edit: Sorry, I seem to be having network problems, the rom zip was corrupt. I'll re-download.

If all else fails you can restore it too stock with wigs toolkit. It should be in the all things root guide and it will re unlock and re root you after you flashed back to stock.

You have to select a rom from your SD card. Selecting update or however it reads won't work....

I actually sideloaded it using adb, and after re-downloading Cyanogenmod, I successfully booted properly. Thanks to everyone for their input! I don't think I'm ever going to try a new kernel again though :3

If you're going to flash anything, do it manually through recovery. Third party apps, even from the developer tend to be flaky. Another step for insurance to make a nandroid before you try anything. That way you have something to restore to in case something goes wrong like what happened today.
