I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1, connecting a Canon S100 to it using the usb adapter you buy at Best Buy. When I hook it up, it does nothing, not even a notifiation for a failed mount or anything.
I've tried a different USB cable to make sure it wasn't a bad cable.
I also have tried a totally different Galaxy Tab 10.1 that is the same model and it detects my camera just fine.
I'm currently doing a factory reset on my tablet, but I really want to hope that fixes it, or there is something funky you have to do to enable the ablity to connect USB devices. Both tablets were bought 2nd hand, but mine had a factory reset done, adn the previous owner of the tablet that does work, didn't make any attempt to reset it, so I wonder if they did something that allows it to connect to a camera.
