usb charging socket fault

Hi all , when I plug my charging lead in my phone sometimes it doesn't charge then put it in and out a few times and then it charges , I've had it where when its plugged in the car dock wheel flashes and the screen flashes too then unplug and its ok , tried another lead and charger and I cleaned the port with alcohol but still the same . Any help much appreciated , thanks

It sounds like the micro-usb port in the phone is having a problem and a trip to a repair facility is needed.

Thanks for your reply , just needed the alcohol to dry before putting the charging lead back in , following morning it was fine and has been since , cheers

Awesome! I wish I had that kind of luck. When I tried everything I still couldn't get mine working again. Different phone though.
