USB device installation failed

I'm using Micromax A52 n my laptop's OS is Windows 7. Everything is quite fine about this phone but whenever i try to connect my phone with my laptop via usb, error message shows, USB device cannot be recognised/ device installation failed. Can any one solve the problem??
