Help USB device not recognized

My phone is samsung galaxy S 3 (NTT Docomo). When I connect my phone using usb cable with my computer, it shows,"USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it."

I uninstalled it, also updated all my drivers. Still doesn't work

Try another USB port, do u try it in another computer ? Because sometimes the problem is caused by computer. If u try many times with the two methods, u'd better make sure is it a fake?

I tried in another computer too but I still got the same notification. I had never connected my mobile to that computer before

where did you get the drivers for your phone from?

Try another usb cable?
