Hi there!
Today I upgraded from S4 mini to S5 because of USB-OTG being available. This actually is true when I connect the micro-USB-to-EthernetRJ45 adaptor, not only does one (power)LED light up, the second LED (LAN cable connected?) lights up as well (with S4 mini all stayed dark).
Alas, the S5 doesn't beep/blip/or popup anything indicating it is recognizing the adaptor, let alonge fetching an IP address for it. It's an AX88772B chip, claimed to "work w/ almost any OTG capable device".
SO: How do it get a USB-Ethernet dongle to work with my S5?
The cabling behind it is ok, anything else receives a IP Address from my DHCP server.
