USB foot pedal/switch

I'm investigating getting a foot pedal for my Nexus 7, but the various bluetooth options are currently outside my budget. There are however numerous cheap USB foot pedals around though, e.g. r.ebay.com/iiegnS

Now I know the above only lists compatibility with desktop operating systems, but I'm wondering whether with an OTG cable if there is any small chance that it might work under Android and it's worth a gamble?

I would say - most likely it will not work. But why don't you ask the people who sell it.

PS: What does one do with a foot pedal ??

I could ask, but since it's a Hong Kong ebay seller, I doubt they'd either know or reply

I'm a guitar player, the theory is to put the music on the tablet as a pdf or similar and then to turn pages with the foot pedal.
