USB Micro A or Micro B

Just got a new Samsung Galaxy S3. I have many 120V to USB converters which means I only need the USB to ? cable to connect from USB point to the phone. I have searched for the last half hour and cannot find the answer to my question; Does the Galaxy S3 take the USB Micro A or Micro B connector? There's a big difference and no one (that I have found) has posted this information. I have learned that the Galaxy S3 takes the same conector as the Kindle (and most likely many other devices as this seems to be the up and coming standard) but when I look for a cable I am asked for the Micro A or B designation. As a new user on this forum I cannot post pictures or links or I would show the difference between the 2 connectors but hopefully someone out there knows which one I need.

Any assistance is appreciated.

To preempt someone from telling me to look at my phone or the cord that came with my phone; I looked at the phone and cannot determine A vs. B and I do not have the cord with me at the present time.

Micro-B is what the Kindle and most phones (and the Nexus range) use

A simple way to tell the difference if you can't see the physical port is that type a connectors supply power and type b receive power, ie: the end that connects to the device would always be a type b whether it's standard usb on a printer or mini or micro on your phone or media player.

microUSB-B is as it were standard with the phones and tabs, so nobody posts about microUSB-A

microUSB-A is provided for small devices that act as an USB host.

Most of the phones act as USB client.
Now, some phones can act as client and as well as host (USB On The Go).
For to act as USB host they need an USB OTG cable. These cables have a microUSB-B connector too, but its ID-pin is jumped to 0V. So the phone "sees" microUSB-A and will switch in USB host mode.
