Help USB Ports Died With Recent Firmware Update ??

I don't use my USB ports every day, but when I do, I really need them to work. In the past, they have reliably recognized thumb drives, my USB laptop mouse, etc. A couple of weeks ago, I got the latest OTA update just like everyone else. Now, both of the USB ports on my keyboard dock appear to be dead. Coincidence? Does anyone else have this issue?

Same here! I didnt connect it to the update but suddenly my wireless mouse was not working. Havent really thought about it since I never use it anyway. But would be nice to know if it was the update that caused it and if any other devices stopped working with the USB ports, or are they completely dead?

Mine works fine. Leave the usb plugged in and do a reboot. It should recognize it

Today my mouse works gain. Didn't do anything special. Very weird...

No such issues here. Maybe your battery got too low?

Correct: it needs to be plugged in to the wall for the USB ports to work. I dont like this feature at all myself.

Try undocking and redocking- that usually resets mine, and I'm not on the 'new' firmware still.
