usb problem

Hi. .Every one

I have galaxy s3 and I have a problem with it. ..

My phone can only connet to the original usb cable. . I can't use any other cables. To charge. Or to connet my phone to any pc or any thing else

Plz help..

I've had success using MOTOROLA branded USB cords w/the SAMSUNG GALAXY S3.

However,this post from another site sums it up better than I can (basically a compatibility issue):

The problem is that some manufacturers (Asus, Samsung, Blackberry) use a resistor wired across pins 4 and 5 of the microUSB cable to differentiate various functionality and also charging capabilities. I agree that it's pretty annoying in general, but from a hacker perspective, it's kind of cool because you can turn a microUSB port into a video cable, or add in lots of audio controller functionality while leaving the connector the same.

In a nutshell,not all USB cables are created equal.
