Help Usb Storage

I have been using Samsung Galaxy S2 for 3 years bought in Korea, original, S2 LTE 4G. Model, SHV-E110S.
Earlier it shows all data in usb storage. i can delete modify copy paste create folder all operations regarding data, now i have no access even data is not shown in usb cant create a folder, but in properties it shows data in MB or GB. Only apps can use that data.
More, in the begining when reboot cell in notification area it showed scaning sc card data then showed scanning complete, but now it does not show scanning complete,
i have searched every where in FAQs etc but there was no solution.

Please please, if there is any solution,
i have also tried to get some space using *#9900# it shows delete dumpstate, when press delete further no pop up that deleted successfully or not,

Could be the SD is going bad, they have a finite life and do eventually wear out. or may have become corrupted. Especially if it's repeatedly scanning and unable to complete.

Could try reformatting it. If you do try replacing the SD, make sure you buy from a reputable and trustworthy source, there's a lot of fakes around, especially on-line.
