I was wondering if there was a way with the Garminfone or if there was an app available to download to use a part of a song as a ringtone (not the beginning of the song). Thanks for info!

sure there are a few. You can go to the android market and type in Ringdroid. Also click the similar tab to see some other options. You should be able to figure it out with a little fiddling.
