Using entire image for lock/home screen

Greetings fellow note 8 users. the past few months have annoyed me to no end when it comes with wallpapers. while im using the Nova launcher, i noticed i CAN NOT get the entire image to display on my 8. however back with my note 4 that was possible. anyways around this ?

I have no issues with wallpapers.

Are you using “Infiniti “ wallpapers?

Care to post a screenshot of what you are experiencing as visual will be more helpful.

Also what carrier are you on and are you rooted ny chance?

I'm on Sprint, no root. usually when i see a image i like online, i sometimes just save the image to use a homescreen or lockscreen wallpaper. always with the note 8, OS makes you resize the image instead of it just displaying as is. it kind of kills me when i have something i like and a portion of the image is missing because it must be resized.

The best you'll get is image2 wallpaper in the play store.
You can pinch to fit any image but it's really if they are in portrait mode or landscape mode....

the wallpapers i use is full screen, on the lockscreen and wallpaper.

the note 8s screen size is not a typical size screen so typical wallpapers/images may not scale to fit properly.
