Help Using Galaxy Grand in United States?

Just curious if someone could verify that I would be able to use this phone in the United States (bought in Asia), and with which carriers if so.

Here are the network specs at the model I'm looking at:

GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz

2G : EDGE/GPRS
3G : HSDPA 21 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps

I think for GSM it wouldn't be a problem with AT&T, but would those WCDMA specs work with Sprint?

Thanks in advance for any help here!

I have been trying to get my Bangalore-purchased Galaxy Grand working here in the US. I have been trying to use Net10 SIM cards. With both AT&T and T-Mobile I can make and receive phone calls but I have not been able to get a data connection to work (I have called Net10 to get their help and they gave me the same APN values as on the website but had no further advice to gave me to get it working, except to say that they did not think it could work in the US as it was not a Net10-approved phone - not sure how accurate that is).

Has anyone been able to do this successfully??

Should the phone be unlocked (I assume that it already is)? Would rooting the device help?

Success - I was experimenting with the phone last night and discovered that if you set the network type to WCDMA (not GSM or auto-detect) and use the published APN values, the phone works like a charm with the Net10/T-Mobile SIM.
