Using the G2 as a Mobile Hotspot ?

Does anyone have any experience using the G2 as a Mobile Hotspot?
If so, what do you think?

I know that the quality of output largely depends on the strength of the built-in Antenna in the phone?

I need to use the phone as a mobile hotspot, for my own use, within 10' of the device.
I currently have an older Samsung and the antenna is lousy. It constantly disconnects and the strength is usually weak, regardless of where I am in town.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Was able to use mine last week just fine, with reach of probably a 20' difference and a floor. I was in the living room of my aunt's house, they were connected in the opposite corner of a room in the basement below me. I know so far, the antennas have seemed a bit stronger than my GNex was, pretty much all around.

No cutouts in BT with my headphones, which my Nexus did, WiFi holds on a lot farther out of my house, as does my signal from my Network Extender. And driving down the road it holds a little longer. You should be fine :)

Cool. Thanks forthe input. Using my current phone is usually a frustrating experience. Today in one hour it disconnected 3 times, and I was outdoors with 5 bars of strength. Again, Thanks.
