Using upgraded phone from different account and keeping unlimited

I know there are a few threads similar to this, but I just wanted to make sure.

I want to get the S4. What I have right now is a never activated S4 that I purchased using my uncle's upgrade (totally different plan from mine). I currently have a Galaxy Nexus with unlimited data and am hellbent on keeping the unlimited data haha.

Now, can I just activate the new S4 on MY line (do I have to swap my SIM card or something?) or do I have to save to go through the steps of activating on his line, then re-activatng his dumbphone, then activating the S4 on my line after?

I'd go with the second option just to be sure. While you're on the phone with Verizon, after its activated, tell them you'd like to activate the dumb phone back on that line lol. They hate it.

I'm looking to switch from my Bionic to a new phone, not sure which yet but I would buy it from Amazon or eBay to preserve my unlimited also. what would I need to do to not mess any of that up? Is there a specific type of phone as far as new and not used and do I need a new sim card or could I just use my current one?

Pretty sure you can use the same SIM. If you're paying full price, no upgrade, you won't lose your data plan.
If the SIM doesn't work, go pick up a new one in store for free.
